View the latest post Help Me Understand My 50A 125/250 Shore Power

Very used to 30A and dual 30A setups but this single line 125/250 is new to me. My owners manual says I have dual 30A so no help there. Called Carver and they said some were delivered with 50A but could not help me in it's function so I ask for your assistance. There is a big 12kva 125/250 Charles isolation transformer in the boat however I assume this is just to isolate shore AC and boat AC and to prevent galvanic corrosion?

First off there is no 250v (220v) on board. I have 2 main breakers similar to what a dual 30A setup looks like. Am I correct to assume I do not need 250v input as it seems like I am only using 2 hot legs and the combined neutral to supply the boat AC or in other words 110v from each leg which goes to each 30a main breaker.

My issue is I only have dual 30a sockets available to me at my dock and I need to use this. There are a few reverse y adapters out there however they do need 220v to allow the connection other wise no power is allowed through.

Do all marinas that have 30a pedestals have 220v or is it possible some may be on the same phase and only have 120v available?

Any and all input would be of great help.

The boat is scheduled to be tore down and transported early next week, hopefully assembled and finally launched the following week where I will then navigate to my home port which should be about a 2 day trip. :captain2:
