Not exactly but free energy none the less. Nice surprise when we pulled into the marina this year. They installed several of these in the town where our Marina is located. This one is in the marina parking lot so really convenient for us. Third time I have used the chargers. Being a very small town, there are hardly any EVs here and the stalls are always empty which I am sure will change as time goes on. The trip out to the marina is a good 2 hour drive at highway speed and that would be at 120kph+ all the way. Needless to say a top off of electrons is nice before we return home especially when it is free. Will help offset the cost of boat gas

Friend asked for assist in selling boat. The vessel, a 2019 Power Cat 3500, was custom built to accomodate an owner confined to a wheelchair. As you can imagine, there is equipment unique to that requirement. Elevator to head, UMC crane built into pilot house to lift chair with person in it, ramp extended off swim platform for drive on/off, etc. Yes, they are going to take a real kick in the pants, but hope to minimize the pain. The vessel is a catamaran style with pilot house, twin Suzuki 300 outboards, Optimax 360 joystick, among other options to enable owner to drive and navigate. Unfortunately, the owner was admitted to hospice care recently and may not have much time. LOA is 38Ft, 12Ft beam. Any thoughts on how to best market this vessel? It really is a unigue boat for this area, and probably belongs in the south or south east waters. Boat has less than 200 hours on it, the first 100 hrs included delivery cruise from east coast because truck transport was delayed. Any opinions on this would be appreciated. If there is a way to avoid significant broker cost, that would really help. Thanks! er

I hit a log in my boat. I bent the prop shafts, rudder, and the strut need replaced. Any idea where i can get these parts? 4 blade prop 20x20 1-3/8.

So my washing machine has stopped draining- i had to use the front filter to empty out. I'll assume the drain pump is bad (i found one online and ordered it) but has anyone here had to remove and replace? I''ve not removed it yet but i will also check the drain for a kink or blockage
appreciate any help or ideas!

I have a 2000 Carver 540 Voyager Pilothouse. I cannot find the charcoal holding tank filter? Anyone know for sure if this vessel has one?

My anchor rollers were in pitiful shape probably because the rode was all chain which takes a toll on the rollers. I did change my anchor and replaced my rode with 5/16"chain and 9/16" 8 plait rope which is what is required for my windlass and should resolve any more wear issues on the rollers.

Here you can see how the roller basically got cut in half due to wear and the material used was rather brittle. I looked for replacements however finding the correct size (hole diameter & width) was impossible not to mention expensive. Had some type of phenolic material left over at the shop so I machined it to my liking. Yes I have 2 roller on the stock set up. Made them slightly bigger and better shaped IMHO. Will try them out tomorrow and hopefully they work as expected. If not, no big deal, back on the lathe and modify to suit.

Can someone tell me if the 350 Mariner [1998] ever had a filter on the waste tank vent. After recommissioning last week I noticed a slight odor outside when flushing the head. Its difficult to follow the vent line to the exit point.

Hey, I'm looking for some advice on part of the cooling system on this engine. Where the raw water hose comes through the transom, it goes into a plastic fitting which runs into a black tube with a couple rubber hoses coming off of it and at the top it goes into the raw water hose which runs to the impeller. Sorry I don't have pictures.

Does anyone know what this black, vertical tube does? Is it possible that this tube could be plugged? I can't seem to find anything to help me identify this. Thanks!
