View the latest post Attachment(s) Props & Shaft

I have a new set of props and a shaft for a Carver C52. We bought them for a trip and ended up not using them. I’m trying to figure out how to price them and where to list them. We don’t want to pay for shipping. Any advice?

View the latest post Registering a boat in Canada

Hello to all our fellow Canadian boater friends. My wife Tracy and I have recently purchased our new to us Carver 444. We would like to talk with any members who have gone through the Transport Canada Boat Registration process. We have spoke to TC officials on numerous occasions trying to make sure our forms are correct. We are getting different responses surrounding our tonnage calculations. If anyone has successfully navigated this process we would really like to chat. Our situation is because the boat exceeds 12 meters we have to file Form 4A. This is the form which calculates length. depth and breadth. This boat was a USGC documented boat and we have those measurements......the confusion seems to be around whether or not their is a superstructure/deckhouse. One official says none another says two ?
Thanks in advance

View the latest post Gas gauges-Sending units

I replaced both sending units on 32 foot carver montego.

They worked great when I tested them before I installed them in the gas tanks

Now they always read half full no matter have much gas is in the tank...full or almost empty

Any ideas on how to fix them or adjust them...

I bent them and use the exact length as the old ones that I removed.

Also the port side tank looks like it is smaller that the starboard side, if that matters at all

thanks

Steve

View the latest post 506 Dinghy Davit - Swim Platform Rating?

I recently purchased a 2000 506 and need to add a davit of some sorts for our Gala v360 dinghy with 40hp (550lbs). I’m considering a Hurley H3O+ on an extension off the stock swim platform. Does anyone know what max weight the platform will support, or has anybody had success hanging a large tender like this off the back of a 506 platform? I’m trying to determine if I should add any support before installing.

View the latest post Elbows / Risers

Good Day All,

Time for some preventive maintenance. Welcome any input on the best price/quality risers and elbows for the CM 350HT, V-8.
We are located in Canada, but open to US suppliers as well. Had a quote the other day, that just seemed high. Looking for some comparisons, but as with everything else this might be the normal increase in prices.

Thanks in advance for all replies. cheers

View the latest post Fuel Tank Repair with a Bladder or Liner

Good Afternoon Everyone.
I have a question about Fuel Tank replacement for a 1987 4207. I already know all the difficulty with the saddle tanks and engine pulling etc. There is a great form on this in here. But, I was just wondering if anyone has used or know of someone that has used a bladder, or maybe a bladder insert or something like this to do the repair. If so if anyone has a link to info or where to buy or research such a thing. Thanks in advance!!!!

View the latest post Seat cushion Folding Leg replacement

Hey All,
I have a 98 Carver 350 Mariner. In the salon on the starboard side of boat I have cushions that pull out with folding legs attached below so I can establish an additional sleeping area. One of the legs is broken and I'm trying to find a replacement and would appreciate any suggestions on where I may find the same part or a suitable replacement. Appreciate any guidance or suggestions. Thanks
