I'm looking for some guidance to the salon table dropping down for the cushions to fit as a sleeping area on my Carver 350. Can you provide any help with how the table lowers enough to fit into the edges of the seat frame so I can place the designated cushions down? Logically, it looks like I just loosen the screw that adjust the height of the table and then drop it down, but when I do this the table doesn't go down far enough to seat in the correct location. Another member said he removes the shaft of table all together, but mine is mounted to underside of table which doesn't seem to be the answer. Any feedback would be welcomed. Thank you

I have 1989 38 aft Carver. My salon lights tucked above the windows don't work. replaced bulb - no help. The previous owner removed one of the fixtures at the starboard side and just left the wire hanging. these wire are not getting any power.
Any suggestions, the other lights and outlets all work.

With a few weeks to uncovering the old girl, I am planning on working under the shrink wrap this weekend and replace the forward Bowmar hatch. This was the one that was ripped off in the October Nor Easter here on Cape Cod. Getting the old one off will be a little tedious to break any adhesive that is holding it on.

However, what would you all suggest that I use as a sealer when I install the new hatch? Silkaflex? 4200?

I have a 1984 Carver Convertible that didn't come with a original builders certificate. Any ideas on how to obtain one? I'm really struggling on how to. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I'm helping out a friend, who's responsible for selling her late brother's 1987 32 foot aft cabin Carver.

The boat is in New Bern, NC (my friend is managing this from Seattle, and arrives in NC this week). From what I understand, the boat is probably in pretty rough shape, both interior and system. I have the HIN and USCG ON, and I've bounced the HIN against a couple of databases which confirm 32 foot 1987.

I'm really looking for a referral to a nearby broker, preferably one who specializes in or knows Carvers. I'm quite certain my friend doesn't want to deal with selling it herself, but if an offer came walking through the door, she'd probably listen. Contact me directly if you'd like a bit more of the story (and why I think it will be a capital-p Project).

Anyone have any suggestions in location a replacement microphone or do I have to breakdown and buy a new VHF radio. I would also appreciate a recommendation for a radio. I boat on the rivers around Pittsburgh soo long distance transmission is unnecessary. Primarily use the radio to contact the lock master.
