Hey all,

i have an 85 Mariner 36' and the starboard engine (454) engine is in need of some work or replacement.

What Generation of Mercruiser 454s were originally in this boat and what rotation direction does the starboard engine turn. is it the standard or opposite rotation engine on the starboard side?

So now I have a question as I do not get this interface stuff info at all.....does anyone know if the data from the st60 transducer can show fish finder like displays on Raymarine c80 Mfd. I now have two transducers, one for speed and temp and the other for depth both correctly wired to the st60 tridata, there are two sea talk ports on the back with one being used as power for the unit near as I can tell.
The C80 MFD has a sea talk cable connected to it from a Raymarine white box ( junction box only).....two into the box, one from the GPS antenna, the other 12volts to feed the sea talk I believe.I have tested all connections and all functions as it should, so after all this lengthy story, my real question is if I connect the st60 to the Mfd will I get a fish finder looking display and if so how the heck do I do it.
Also have a Garmin gpsmap942xs which is fish finder display capable, just don't know if the st60 will talk to the Garmin.
So if anyone understands this .....please help.

Where do I check transmission oil levels?
Are the transmissions using engine oil?
Service dept at my marina gave me a large filter and a small filter for each engine, is the small one for the transmission?

New poster here. Third year with my 370 Voyager, and wondered if anyone knows how to access the outboard side of the starboard engine? Remove the dinette? Port is a lot more accessible, but wow, starboard might as well be on Mars.

The are looking at a 2005 Mariner 36 this week. It has the twin Yanmars. Any thoughts on the pros and cons of this boat? Thanks.

Just changed my water pump that runs sinks toilet shower etc.
But now the hotvwater to kitchen sink & bathroom runs really slow.
Shower is fine .!
Any ideas please .

We replaced our outdoor snap down vinyl carpet because the missus wanted to add the carpet to the transom and steps. We couldn’t match the material we already had because it is no longer manufactured.

The toast (tan) carpet covers the cockpit and the fly bridge, cleans very easily, and there is nothing wrong with it, or the snaps. We would have kept it if we could have matched it. Hate to throw it away.

I believe it will also fit the 35 SS and 37 SS.

Anyway, if interested PM me and we will work out a nominal price and shipping.

Pulled dumb move changing radio shut down power but forgot constant line cut line, need to find location of fuse for radio constant wire, ran out of Patience if someone could point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Newbie to Carver going to fix up older boat will need insight time to time.

Can someone tell me what’s this switch is for on my 3297. Port side facing stearn? It doesn’t do anything that I can tell.
