My factory president depth finder readout quit working. Just wondering if anyone knows of a replacement for the president readout that works with the factory sounder? Thanks

Just purchased a 1976 Carver Mariner 3396. Gutted the inside and in the process of getting new flooring, curtains etc. Mechanical issues that I’m aware of...one engine stuck in forward and water heater needs replaced. Water heater is in engine compartment and not sure how to get it out without pulling engine. Anyone have experience or advice?

Hi, I have a Carver 32 1995, and I want to change my window weather strip, most of them have dried out and some pieces are missing.

I have found the replacement but how can we take out the old ones ? I have tried with a knife, screen driver with no succes. They are in some kind of groove within the window, I have attached some pictures.

Hi all, very glad to join the site. Just purchased a 1988 Carver Mariner 3297. Looking forward to many hours of enjoyment, and I'll likely be on this site often to answer the many unexpected questions I discover with a 30 year old boat

I am in the process of purchasing a 97 355 Aft Cabin. Is anyone aware of the true dimensions of the aft stateroom bed. Is it an actual queen, or actual double? There is conflicting info online.

Hi Folks,
I am interested in knowing if anyone has some sort of security system on their boat. I am thinking that there are expensive electronics on my boat and although we have not had problems at the dock, I would rather be safe then sorry. One fellow has a motion detector which 'wails' a high pitch when activated.

I am trying to locate a older (2005 ish) Raymarine VHF. I am replacing one at the lower helm because the cord to handset has lost most of its outer covering and looks bad, otherwise in good working order. Are there any sources for older Raymarine products?

I have a Charles inverter/charger that charges as designed while on shore power. The charge side of the inverter does not seem to like the power when supplied by the Generator. I suspect the inverter has very sensitive relays that are causing the issue. I have spoken with Charles and still have not been able to resolve the issue. The inverter and generator work as designed except for this. Any feedback is welcomed.
