Just saying hi. We purchased a 1989 Carver Montego 25' and are excited to get out on the water this spring!
This is our first Carver and first boat! I am sure we will be in for many surprises!

OK, my new to me 356 has one head not working. Worked during survey and at least once/twice after.
Now it's not doing anything.
Suggestions guys? Could this be electrical or more of a clog situation.
This is our first boat with Vacu Flush, so I'm a complete newbie on this one. No stranger to heads as I've done rebuild kits on several heads in the past, both manual and electric.

I have a 2001 Carver 444CMY with twin Cumming 370. I need to replace my shaft zinc. I can not find anywhere that tells me the size. I believe they are 2” could anyone verify

Are these lights 120VAC or 12VDC? Thank you.

Just purchased a 2006 41 CMY , Volvo D6-310A, 490hr. in Poulsbo, Wa. Survey showed a L turbo boost leak and elevated lead levels in the strbd transmission, other that that everything looks OK. Owner fixed the turbo boost and I will monitor the transmission with an oil test in six months.
Anyone know what kind of fuel economy I can expect with the D-6 310? The previous owner cruised at 15-1800 rpm, so I think he got decent fuel economy, i will likely push the speed into the mid teens, 12-15 gal / hr?
A beef with this boat is the lack of space for gear for extended voyages. Appreciate the photos of Midnight Sun II with the mods he has made. Anyone figured out a way to put on extra batteries for an inverter, i hate running the genset for a cup of hot water?

Hi everyone! Today my wife and I take ownership of a beautiful 1998 Carver 400 CMY with twin Cummins diesels. We are so excited for this new adventure! We have a slip on Harbor Island San Diego and looks like we have fun neighbors too. The yacht is in very good shape and our first projects will be new teak-like flooring in the salon, new mattresses and new carpet on the bridge. Hope to meet people from our area and to talk to others with like yachts.

I have a noisey forward head vent fan. I called Carver factory and was referred to a vendor for replacement but vendor referred me to a dealer that said the vendor didn't make the blower 3" squirrel cage vent fan. Anyone know a source for this fan?

In my 530 voyager I have the grey water ending up in bilge instead of being pumped overboard. The grey water pump seems to work ok. Is this a broken hose problem?

Hello all my wife and I are proud new owners of a beautiful 38 santego , we were wondering if anyone else has this same model and if you had and particular likes or dislikes. Last year we had a 32 mariner and loved it but we wanted a larger boat and bought the 38 we are very excited for this season.

I want to share with you the recovery of my carver 28 purchased after 6 years of inactivity. The old owner for his wife's serious health problems had completely forgotten to have such a beautiful boat.
I'll show some photos of the before and after the deep cleaning work

now I have to polish the upper part and wax it to give it a better look and take a few years less.
I also have to remove the old silicone in some areas and replace it with the sika.
