View the latest post 444 CPMY.

Hi. I purchased a 2001 444 last fall and had props sent out for scanning. I am told they are of Canadian manufacture (24 x 30) and the blades are not welded equal distance around hubs. Rear cutless bearings wore out in less than 400 hours.
Anyone heard of this issue?

Lots of $'s to replace.

Thanks

Thanks for accepting me to the group. We are from New Zealand and have our Carved 1999 four fifty stationed in Gulf Harbour marina. Fuhrfrumwurken was from P.A USA and is still in excellent condition. It's wet and cold down under so we have ordered an enclosed Flybridge from a local marine supplier. Looking forward to adventures with her and our family and friends. Wish you all safe boating.

View the latest post Noise levels

I have decided on a carver 53. I like the idea of having statrooms forward of the engines and generator. The wife likes the master in the aft cabin of carver 504. Does anyone have noise levels when engines and or generator is running.

View the latest post 1996 355 oil pressure and water temperature

I am a new menber and recently purchased a 355 Aft Cabin. I have only had the boat out3-5 times for short runs. I am a remoldeling the boat to bring it back to a beautiful condition, the bones are very good. My question is any ideas on why the oil PSI is 80-85 on both engines? I poke around at15-1800 RPM'S. Also, My water temps are 180 and 190 degrees. Any suggestions would help. I am a little embarrassed, I haven't checked the manual, but all seems high. Csdaman2

View the latest post 2007 42ss refrigerator

I own a 2007 42SS. Bought it two years ago. My refrigerator needs to be replaced. Problem is the outside dimensions of a new Nova Kool RFU9000 9.1 CU FT AC/DC Two Door Refrigerator & Freezer aren't the same as the existing unit. The new units are approximately 2 inches longer in depth and if installed would prevent the hatch access to storage area under galley from opening. Has anyone encountered a similar situation and did anyone come up with a suitable solution?

Appreciate any feedback.

We are trying to find a complete set of "wing doors" for our 1993 Carver 350 aft cabin motor yacht. They fit the port and starboard entrances to the aft deck from forward. The starboard door can be viewed in the attached image. Any ideas? Thank you.

View the latest post Countertop Replacement

My 3227 had the old mauve formica countertop - maybe it looked cool in the 1980s, but not anymore!

Glass tile seems to fit the color scheme and looks a lot better, don't you think? I did the same thing in the head, and on the dining/settee table.
