How do you remove the salon door on a 1996 Carver 325 to replace the rollers at the bottom track? Does the fixed track that extends across the width of the salon window need to be removed or is can the bottom of the door be removed where the rollers are attached?

Does anyone know how many gallons of antifreeze it takes to winterize each engine's seawater side from the thru-hull to the exhaust on my 2000 405 with 7.4 Mercruisers?

Feez suggested I post this, had to wait until I was up and on the hard for pics.
Last winter I installed 4 Ocean LEDS. I bought the highest lumen rating they had at 1400. They are all aluminum castings with 5 bulbs inside. The great thing about these lights is that they are quality made in USA. These are by far the brightest lights I have seen in any boat. Anchored in the clear water at Beckwith Island, Georgian Bay, I throw light an easy 100ft behind my boat.
Super easy install, an hour for mounting and running the wires and about 2 hours to do the actual electrical side. But I complicated this part by adding a new power bus in my master cabin bilge for the power supply AND added a 12v motorcycle alarm remote control - which gives me the ability to turn on/off the lights and dim/brighten them from 250ft away.
This winter I am adding 2 more, as Ocean LED just came out with higher output ones at 2800 lumen each.

After a year long project, I have my steps mounted on the swim platform. Need to add a step into the transom and finish bending and welding the railings after that. But the majority of my project is complete.

Anybody looking to unload their salon hi low table from their Carver? Bought an '88' 4207 without a table and would like to add the original table as designed.
Send me a note if interested in selling.

I have what appears to be a broken dimmer switch in the Master cabin located on the Port side of the stateroom. The switch is located to the rear of the closet on the Port side next to the AC/Heat control head. I cannot figure out what this switch controls. Any assistance would surely be welcomed.

I have twin 5.7 litre merc cruiser engines. Thunderbolt ignition. I bought the boat used and the former owner who had it for 18 years has always used 30W non-detergent oil on the engines. Mechanic recommendations are 25W40. Does anybody know if there would be any issues with switching to the 25W40 oil now?

I have a 1988 3207 Aft Cabin. I have a separate 4D deep cycle battery as my house battery and two separate batteries for the engines. I was going to swap one of the engine batteries with an 8D deep cycle and use that as both a cranking battery for the starboard engine and to provide additional house power along with the 4D deep cycle.
Does anybody have any recommendations on a battery charger? The original charger still works but its on its last legs...

Hello to all, I hope it's the right section, there is someone who has my model?
I do not understand why the Carver stopped making a boat so beautiful
This is my boat, "il Carver" in navigation, since 2006 i have made many aesthetic and functional upgrades
With Kad 42 the cruising speed was 31 Mph and the maximum speed 42.5 Mph
With new engines do not know, I still have to finish installing

- Forum: Introduce Yourself!
Hello, my name is Fabrizio and I live in Tuscany (Italy) I do not speak English well and so I try to do my best using Google translator
I have a Carver 310 (Three Ten Express 1997) since 2006, now I'm repowering with two Hyundai EFB S270P, the old engines were the Volvo Penta Kad 42P
I want to find someone who has my same boat to share some experience in Europe of this model there are really very few, in Italy I believe there is only mine.
I sail with boats from 1981 and Carver (this is the name of my boat) was my 7th boat ..
This is "il Carver" near Elba Island
