I am looking for 2 1991 Carver or equal rpm guages to replace 2 that fogged up on the inside. I have not been able to find equal replacements and do not really want to replace the senders. Is there anyone that may have them available online or that will ship to Michigan that sells older parts ? Thanks for any help.

Hi Group, I need to change the oil in our 1975 Santa Cruz. It has twin 302 Wauskesha Fords. Whats the best way to remove the oil from the engine? There is a plug in the pan, hose between the block and oil pressure sending unit that has a fitting in it or does it have to be sucked out the dipstick hole? The boat's on a trailer so there is no chance of a spill into the water. Thanks, Jim

Hello,
she's old but shes pretty and actually getting interior redone at the moment time to bring the past to life.
My question is I never had a boat with a 7.4L Merc & Bravo 1 Outdrive that being said never had a seawater pump always just the water impeller in the outdrive.
SO...... How can I run the antifreeze thru this boat does the outdrives veins still pull water or is it the thru water inlet on the portside hull only thing is I cant see this a fitting or strainer I actually have no idea what that water inlet is for.
Basically I dont wanna burn my boat up and I have no idea if i can just use the tool i have been using for years to winterize my boat.
and any advice for the toilet and sink etc consider I just bought the boat and know nothing about winterizing it
ANY ADVISE will be much much obliged.

Gustava II came out onto the hard on Thursday. The winter nap has begun. Boats sure do look a lot bigger out of the water than they do in although a sedan like mine does have a nice in the water look.

Does anybody know where one can purchase MDPE pipe in the United States? My story begins with a clogged head in the aft stateroom on my maiden voyage with the new boat from Myrtle Beach to Charleston, SC my home port. The fluid level would not go down. I donned the wet gear to clean out the nasty's the previous owners had left, and took the Crown head apart. The head appeared operationally fine with a need for some new gaskets and impeller, but they were not the immediate issue. I pumped out the rear holding tank and disconnected the sanitation line at the head. I ran a snake through it around a lot of calcification and got to a hard blockage at about 7' of a 10' run. I could not clear the problem.
While looking for a boat, I went on about four Carvers including the one I purchased. Every boat we went on had a smell that I have since been told is "Potty Boat". All of the owners and brokers advised that the boats had just been closed up for a while. I can air it out, but it never really leaves its just not as bad. I did have a local sanitation contractor come on board to let me know what he thought about the clog. After an hour long sales pitch he left with his price of $6000.00 to fix it.
I have since been reading alot and have decided to replace the sanitation lines to alleviate the clog and hopefully the odor. But it appears that the sanitation lines often fail and are pricey. I want to replace the current lines with Medium-density polyethylene (MDPE). It is flexible and impervious to permeation. My problem is, I cannot find it available in 1 1/2 ID near me. Any thoughts are appreciated.

So, I can't be the only 4207 owner out there that has wanted to install dual gas shocks on my engine room access/stairs.
I thought this might be a great winter project but I started to research " The extended length is the distance between point R and K (closed) in your calculation on the previous page in which this length must be long enough to include two stroke...." ......but wait maybe someone has already done the brain work.
So who out there has already installed them?
