Last Summer we boated 1 hour to dinner then docked with GenSet running. 1.5 hours at dinner then were returning home when some dash warning lights came on for the stbd engine. These indicators were 5 graphic lights depicting engine overheat and other scary things. The digital gauge readout was normal but I still had to check the engine room. All seemed normal there too. I restarted both engines and the lights did not turn on again or since. MY QUESTION: What system controls these warning lights? Engine sensors only? Engine Transmission Controller?
My thoughts are since the warning lights reset immediately, it must be an electronic controller, but no manual shows these displays.

I have a '92 Carver 33 Aft Cabin. When taking the bimini off to get it replaced I trashed the anchor mast light. Can anyone tell me what make or model it may be. The round base is about 2.5"[image][/image]

Considering a 2000 326. Have read some less-than-flattering reports about it being top-heavy and unstable. I've read reports of considerable bobbing motions, even at dock/anchor. I realize these boats are floating condos, but is the stability really this bad? Carver sure seems to have sold many of this design over the years for the handling to be so terrible.

Looking for Carver C40 Command Bridge. Prefer low hours, hard top, laminate flooring but open to others.

I'm looking to install Hull Shield on our boat to discourage marine growth. It only works, however, if the associated transducers are mounted directly against the hull below the waterline with no intervening insulation or sound absorbing material.

If necessary, I can mount them on the outside of the transom, but I'd prefer to mount them on the inside of the hull if possible.

The owner's manual says that balsa wood was added to the hull on the "planing surface" and to the hull sides "where necessary". I'm wondering if anyone knows what this translated to and, specifically, where I might find a couple of spots roughly three inches in diameter which meet the above criteria.

I will do my best to determine if such spots exist through inspection, but I'm hoping someone in this group might already know the answer.

My Cat 3208 Engine pan gasket started leaking. Has anyone had to change this gasket. If so were you able to do so without removing / raising engine.

Here we are again! Getting closer to launch season in the north. Looks like about 51 days for me. Will not need to worry about any rogue ice chunks this year. Have not had any ice, even shore ice, for at least the past month. Latest weather forcasts point to above normal temps for our area all Spring. How long before y'all launch? er

I'm replacing the packing on the rudder seals on my 3207. The shafts and stuffing boxes are the same size as the prop shafts. What size packing do I need? I thought it was 1/4", but that seems to be too thick.

Want to purchase tune up parts such as filters and impellers for my recently purchased 1986 AC 3207. Im having trouble nailing down what engines I have based on the serial numbers. I cant seem to find these serial number ranges when I go to websites that sale parts etc. Any help on id'ing the engines and a good place to purchase parts would be welcome. Thanks.
