We own a 2003 Carver 564. The bifold shower door in the bow of the boat is missing a handle. Looks like the handle is 7inches long and has 2 screw at each end 1/2 inch apart. Any recommendations on where I can get the shower door handle replaced?

I'm considering the purchase of an '89 4207 .... Is the hull construction solid fiberglass on this model with balsa core above the water line?

I am obviously a new member who is yet to own a boat.
Over the past 2 years trying to decide on what Make, what model and how big.
I have had no bias as to which make I like until recently and now find myself leaning towards the Carver brand.
I am sure many will question my decision to buy a boat which is relatively large (52'Voyager) considering that I have not owned a boat before. And welcome any negative and positive feedback into my rationale of why I am looking at a boat of this size.

My new-to-me Carver 560 came with a thruster remote that does not work. Any ideas on how I can get it operational?

Does anybody have a good place or source of parts for this boat. I have some 3 inch interior salon lights that I need to replace. I am having trouble locating them. Can anybody help. I have discover that a lot of parts I am having a hard time finding. Is there a good source of Carver parts anywhere, or does anybody know a marine store or supplier that will handle the parts, even if they are used or salvage??? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Ahhh....I first owned a 28' 1989 Carver flybridge in 1999. Lost it during "Ernesto" in, I believe 2005-6. Went right back and purchased a 1991 Carver 26' Flybridge. A little smaller perhaps...but then, I'm a little older too. I've owned or built many boats in a lifetime but the Carvers always had attributes I enjoyed. Though never traveling in the circles of the much larger Carvers, I've owned 32' to 44' craft and many smaller. I just repowered my 26 Carver and unfortunately, like many of us, didn't get much chance to use it this past season. Retiring to my home on the lower Potomac in June, I'm looking forward to an active boating
season. Like all boaters, I've modified my craft in a number of ways and am interested in reading what inovations others have applied to THEIR boats!
Moving to the Virginia shore of the river will be interesting. I have no idea how much personal property tax I'll be paying (no such animal in Maryland) and I have no idea what the boats value is, or, how to determine that. I can't even find a 26' Carver Flybridge on the market to give me an idea. If anyone has a clue to that I'd be interested to know. Thanks
