greetings, tim & kim here from south jersey. we just purchased a 2008 carver cmy 41 with diessel engines. plan to keep it in cape may NJ.

Where are you keeping it? We bought ours at Schooner Island Marina in Wildwoods almost 4 years ago. Congrats!

Congrats on your purchase, mighty fine choice but then again I am biased. ;-) Take a look at my pics in my signature. Have done tons of mods to ours.

Unfortunately it will be on the market this spring. Age, health and a lifetime of boating has crept up on us therefor travelling is going to be more of a priority for us in the future. One of the hardest decisions I have ever made. :cry:

New member. Just bought a 1988 Carver 3227 that is supposed to be in great shape, at auction for $1510. Going to it next few days and get it transported out west to the Idaho, Oregon area. Anybody have success transporting this model? Previously owned a Carver 2827 and the financial crisis of 2008 took it away. Not sure how to add a pic to this forum.
