I have a 1993 Aft Cabin and of course the diesel generator is under the steps that go down to the salon. Ran great before a bad trip and now won't start due to low compression. I'd like to pull it and rebuild. Anyone out there pull one before?

Can you get to it to remove the rocker cover? Maybe just a stuck valve?

Shame no one seems to consider working on stuff in a boat, another prime example
