2005 45 voyager I replaced my nonworking charles inverter in june 2018 with a xantrex 3000watt. It shorted out and heavy black charring in august 2018, two months later. My electrican says he found dried salt on top of inverter and recommends relocating out of starboard bulkhead which is the factory location. My options are cover top and sides with a rain shield or relocate to where? Any thoughts or experience out their? Installing another one soon.
