Post 2004 Carver 360 SS Sanitation Hose

Has anyone attempted replacing the sanitation hose on a 360 Sport Sedan? Looks like the most difficult part is the hose from the head to the pump that goes behind the fuel tank. Also assume there is a duck bill valve(s) I should look at during this repair too. Thanks for the help.

Post led lights

Good morning

I would like to change all my interior lights to led, 1998 4555 Carver. I have Hera 20watt ?

has any one converted yet? what are the positives and negatives?

thanks

I purchased the 2W G4 LED--12V--3000K WARM WHITE --80Ra, I thought these were dimmable but the package said they are not. Does any one know where I can find dimmable?

There are are few on the market but I need the ones that are dimmable for the salon area, the non dimmable will work for the rest of the boat.

thanks

Post Black & Decker SpaceMaker coffee maker

We are updating our 2002 396 and replacing the coffee maker. My wife cleaned up the Black & Decker SpaceMaker that was on the boat and, while we have not made coffee with it, it seems to operate just fine. Seems to be in good shape, too. If anyone can use it for their Carver, I'll send it to you if you kick in a few bucks for shipping. Drop me a private message with your mailing address.

Post New to me 1996 Carver 325 Aft Cabin

HI All,

We just purchased a 1996 Carver 325 Aft Cabin. The boat is in pretty good shape but what sold us on the purchase was the replacement of the engines and transmissions in 2019.

Looking forward to boat projects and perusing this board for help.

Does anyone have suggestions for either a hard top or bimini top to cover the aft deck?

Regards!

Post Switch Panel

My original bridge switch panel had years of sun damage. We ordered a custom panel from New Wire Marine. They used our measurements and it came pre wired. It looks so much better and at night is really visible.

Post genset winterization

What do you think of how I did? I shut off the sea clock for the strainer, then ran fresh water through the strainer and heat exchanger. Next, ran 3 or so gallons of ink through the strainer uniting pink came ou. I did not fog the Honda engine on genset. After I take the 20 mile run u the river to storage, I plan on running the genset again and dumping a couple more gallons of -60 through the strainer, just in case any water got into the exhaust port and settled in the muffler. Sound OK?

Post Volvo Penta 8.1L exhaust riser elbow pipe plug

Question: accessing/checking internal exhaust cavity without removing elbow

On our factory OEM Volvo Penta 8.1L TBI exhaust elbow (no CAT) there is a pipe plug on the top, almost centered over the exhaust riser. Does removing this plug allow "swabbing" the exhaust cavity for moisture?

I don't want to "un-do" a pipe plug that accesses the raw water jacket area.

We had the port engine exhaust riser gaskets replaced last year, and would like to check the std engine.

Post Life Jackets

So after reading the article about the boat fire, it said everyone had their life jackets on. Good to hear, but then I got to thinking about where we store our jackets and how accessible they are or are not. Where do you store your life jackets? How accessible are they in the event of an incident?
