- Posted by: Adaptel » July 29th, 2020, 1:05 pm
- Forum: The Project Center
Thought I would share the results of my epicly large project....did a full wrap on my 1988 Carver 3207 Aft Cabin. Am very pleased with how it turned out and am even more excited not having to deal with oxidation every year. Only have to do the front of the bridge now. What do you think?

Hello all, hope you are having a safe, fun summer. we have a 1987 3607 and my starboard RPM gauge is reading 1000 RPM's high. Turn engine off and it drops back to 1000, when you turn key turn key to middle position it goes to zero but when fully turned and engine starts it reads high. Will disconcerting from the coil and reconnecting reset it? Or is it time to just get new gauges?Thank you for you thoughts and stay safe.

Hello! I am not an owner yet - but looking to be soon!
I have a deal pending on a 1990 380 Santego. I need to get Transport costs from sellers Lake to my Lake - about 1 hr travel time apart.
What has to come off the boat in order to transport besides cushions etc. ? This boat is the Single state room, and has the Radar Arch, I know that must come down. Does the Helm Station need removed? The owner is telling me when the boat was delivered to is lake, the Arch was down and Windscreen off the he ...

Post Ice Maker removal
- Posted by: DoorCountyScott » July 28th, 2020, 11:46 am
- Forum: General Repairs & Maintenance
Greetings from Door County WI, new owner of a 1988 360 aft cabin. We just had the frig replaced and now the ice maker (uLine) quit. It is located under the dinette. I am assuming it is shot so will replace it but cannot figure out how to remove (nor could the service advisor at our marina). Rather than paying a tech I would prefer to do it myself. Has anyone done this? Thanks!

Post March AC pump

Do March Air Conditioning Pumps fail?
My AC pump is wired to run constantly. It feeds two AC units (Salon and Cabin). Cabin unit NFG.
Water output observed at the through hulls is down to about half of prior levels, even earlier this season.
Strainer cleaned. Power cycled.
What gives?

Post Hynautic Steering

Every now had then my steering seems to get hard. I have checked and filled the fluid at the helm and turned the steering wheel all the way port and starboard several times. Seems fine, but every now and then while underway the steering seems to get hard, but still steers, but with some resistance. Going to crawl into the aft night stand cabinet and try to spray lube on all the pivot points, this will be fun! LOL!

My Strataglass vinyl windows are almost 4 years old. My detailer cleans, polishes them 3 times per year. They are starting to haze. I worked on 1 yesterday with the Strataglass cleaner and polish. Some improvement. Any suggestions to reverse the haze? Thanks

I have a 97 Mariner 350 and may need to remove the freshwater or black water tank. Does the entire floor lift or how would one remove these tanks if needed?
