I have four ac units aboard my 450 Voyager. Two are located port side in salon, guest quarters unit is under berth, master's cabin is behind the bulkhead, under the pilothouse. How do I access this master's cabin unit? Seats in the pilothouse are not easily removed, nor is the cabinetry. What am I missing here?

Hi there. Have a 1986 32 Aft cabin with 305 Crusaders. Have owned boat for three years and we love it! It was very well maintained and upgraded by prior owners.

We have added about 100 hours in the last 3 years. However, due to busy schedules, we used it very little in the past six months. My port engine started developing a ton of moisture inside the distributor cap. Replaced it (including new seal), added Wire dry/WD40, and it ran fine. Yet after a few weeks pulled the cap and was completely corroded. Again cleaned it, added wire dry/wd-40; Ran for a bit and died. Cap was full of moisture.

Ideas???

Never had a problem until recently.
Anyone using vented caps and if so, where can I get them? Thinking of venting the cap to a vacuum in the carburetor.

Merc50 new member here. Not new to boating but just purchased a 1998 350 Mariner in great shape. Will be delivered to Lake Texoma next week.

With a foot of snow on the ground, it is the perfect time to think about my upcoming repairs to my boat. I am in need of the little plastic curtain hooks that are sewn onto the curtains and the top end slides into the track. I have gone to a couple of fabric stores but they could not help me. I own a 1984 Carver 3207, any thoughts on where I can find these curtain hooks?

Hi has anyone removed the side panels in the salon of a 91 3608 ive got to gain access to the fuel tank fillers and vent pipes for the purpose of a boat safety scheme which we have over here if your on inland waterways. Any advice would be appreciated because I don't want to have to start cutting inspection
hatches out. Many thanks lee

I was wondering if there is an alternative to the # 97310 preformed hose from the raw water pump to the cooler. The hoses are $114.00 each. The local marine parts store said maybe trying some brass fittings. That may work, but I'm not sure if you can get 2 - 45* or 2 - 90* 1 1'4" brass fittings and some short pieces of hose to fit in 4 1/2" of differance between the two points. All help would be appreciated.

Hello, I recently (5 months) bought a 1980 Carver 2667 (santa cruz). I am converting this planing 26 foot cabin cruiser to a go slow mini trawler with all the bells and whistles, at this point I am working on sorting out the wiring and running lots of additional wiring. well I finally cleaned off the bridge and started looking at what I had to work with up there, what I found was a round 2 inch panel plate (looks like a standard 2 inch gauge at first glance, but has a red light and a toggle switch, looks factory, any one know what it is? New to the forum and new to yachting. Just purchased a well maintained 1992 33 aft cabin and waiting for the NY winter to be over so we can take her out.
She sports twin Volvo's with 832 hrs on the engines.
Anyone out there have a set of specs for this model, I would appreciate getting a copy.
