Post AC Replacement

Anyone know where I can find a replacement for a Marine Air VR6K-H (6,000BTU) unit? May have to replace the unit if it cannot be repaired. The unit runs fine but it doesn't pump out the cold air. Hoping to get an AC guy to have a look but keeping my options open at this time.

Unit is tucked in the port aft corner of the master cabin and very difficult to access. Seems like Carver built the boat around the AC unit!! I guess they never had service in mind during their planning off placement.

Post Anchor rode length and how to increase

The Captain and I visited "the Condo" last weekend, and as was on our too-do list, played out all the anchor rode. It turned out to be all galvanized chain (but need to verify 5/16 BBB or G4). We did determine we only have 120' of it, and we need to mark it!

Now the question is, to achieve desired scope, we're limited to <30 feet for anchoring purposes. Rather than replacing with a single longer chain run, has anyone joined additional chain? or at this point do we just get 200" of 5/8 3-s ...

Post Prop shafted

I went out on my Carver yesterday and when pulling back into my slip I lost the starboard prop. I have another set of props and I have already went under the boat to verify shaft is ok and all seam to be good minus the prop. My question is although starboard motor runs CW and port runs CCW are the nuts on my shafts the same? Both right hand thread? The reason for asking is when I pull boat out of the water I would like to replace both props and both sets of nuts so the same does not happen on t ...

Post Distributors for Crusader 454XL?

I've got a 1995 370 Voyager with twin 454XL. The starboard HEI Ignition Module went bad and was replaced. The Cap and rotor were also worn, I had the spare parts so I replaced them as well. The distributor looks very old with signs of corrosion. I'd like to replace the distributors in both engines. Manual says Port is LH and Starboard is RH rotation. I've got Borg Warner transmissions. All I can find on-line is LH distributors (Sierra 18-5484-1 and similar). Will LH work in both engines?? Don't ...
