Post 1998 310 santego. Fuel switch

My boat is only pulling gas from the port tank. I looked in the owner manual and it shows valve controls for each tank plus one for a generator (which I do not have). It says they are on the forward wall of the engine compartment. I have looked all over and don't see anything. I contacted the previous owner and he had not seen these valves. On an older model they were inside the cabin under a cushion and easily accessible and no mistake what they were. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ...

Post Water collecting in forward bilge

I have water collecting in my forward bilge (Carver 355). I thought it was condensation from my A/C but I replaced the drain hose, and throughly dried out the area and see that is not the problem. I suspect there may be small leak in the hot water tank. I find a small wet area along the bottom of the hot water tank, but really minor so I don[t know that i want to replace it; Anyone have any other ideas? I found a drain plug in the hole that connects the mid-ship bilge with the forward bilge ...

Post Windlass cuts power to 12V System

Any idea why my 12V systems cuts outs every time I activate the windlass to lower or raise the anchor?
Every time the windlass is activated, I've noticed my VHF, depth sounder and chart plotter shuts down and comes back on after I release the power to the windlass.

Post clear water pump line

32' aft cabin.....

Heard an odd noise from friends boat yesterday. In front of the left engine, on the floor lays a pump. There is a clear line, may 3/4" that has came off from somewhere and basically this pump was pumping air. Went to the circuit panel and flipped a breaker title "water pump". Tripping this breaker stopped the motor. The line on the other side of the pump disappears somewhere behind what looks like may be some sort of liquid storage tank that sits outboard and just in front of ...

Post Ceiling Vents in the Salon of my 346 aft cabin

We just took possession of our 2002 Carver 346 Aft-Cabin. We're just getting familiar with things and I noticed a pair of ceiling vents mid way of the main salon. Can someone tell me what they're for or how they operate? We are loving life tonight on our first night.

Post Funky rode locker

There's a rank stank emanating from this here rode locker. This wouldn't be so bad except it is in my sleeping quarters and thus the emitted funk wafts over me as I doze.

How can I fight this olfactory offender?

Bleach? Borax? UV light?

Post Cabin side port hole window screens wtb

Wanted -

My 3867 Santego came with only one port hole screen - presumably there were others once upon a time, all of which I assume met the same fate as mine: hot evening, awoke from sleep, bleary eyed and possibly a bit drunk, decide to open a port hole for some refreshing breeze. But wait! What about the Jesus big dock spiders? I know what - I'll just use this screen thing that should fit in here just like... splash. Bloop bloop bloop. *$#/?@!!!

And then there were none.

So the opening ...

Post Santego 3867 OEM Panel Gauges

Earlier this year I reworked my dash panels and installed new gauges. Well, I had been holding on to the original OEM gauges, but the Admiral has said, "they must go, throw them away, give them away, or sell them...she didn't care, but just get rid of them as she was tired of seeing them". Of course my response was, "Yes Dear!" :worthy:

So my loss is your gain. They are free to whomever wants them for the cost of shipping ( I hate throwing away something still serviceable). :-D They are ...
