Post Help! Need stainless windshield support bracket

I bought a nice 1993 Carver 300 Sedan and shipped it about 200 miles. The short windshield (windscreen?) surrounding the forward part of the flying bridge blew off. I can replace the plastic, but I also lost one of the stainless steel brackets, so I can't do anything until I get one. I have attached a picture of it. If anyone has any idea how I can get a replacement I will be much obliged. Thank you.

Post Fuel starvation

Looking for ideas. I have been fighting a fuel starvation problem for a year. After 10 minutes at cruise, the starboard engine cuts out. Switch to port tank and all is fine. I cut in a filter between the fuel pickup and antisiphon valve which fills up with crap and stops clogging antisiphon valve. Obviously need to clean out tank. Any idea where this crap can be coming from? It is a 91 32 Montego. Pulled the fuel sending unit out and tank bottom looks clean.

Post New Owners: 2003 Carver 396 Aft Cabin MY

So, for the folks following my earlier saga with a 97 Carver Mariner, Thanks to the good Lord, we were finally able to close on a 2003 Carver 396 Aft Cabin. Much bigger boat than I expected, but fills a hidden niche part of my desires to own a modern Motor yacht.

Here are some details:

Twin 8.1L Crudsaders 502's w/ Captains Choice with about 104 Hrs Each

7.5KW Kohler Genset with 130 Hrs

Floor Plan A (dual sofa space, no dinette) with recessed kitchen and a larger VIP guestroom

Post Fuel gauge issue

Hi all, after a hiatus from here back for more education. I did a query but found nothing similar, forgive me if I missed it.

Having issue with fuel gauge pegging empty and not registering any fuel in the tank. Any suggestions on where to start diagnostics? I'm wondering if maybe gauge itself went... Sending unit maybe?

Some extra background... Had a shop install Garmin plotter/fishfinder and coincidence has it electric problems ensued.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.

Thanks,

Mark

Post Water is way high.

Well gang, I have never in all my years, seen the water this high. Cooler is on a fixed height dock. We had just 3" of clearance to the water last night. Water levels were changing by the minute with the range of 6" to a foot. If something doesn't change, we are going to need waders to get to the boat. The good news is we have the option of a four point tie, so we can stay in the well. Need to start singing Rain, Rain Go Away! Temps tomorrow in the 80's. Windy, hoping for off shore direc ...

Post Fuel Flow Consumption

Anyone know a good source for finding the fuel flow or GPH at various RPMs?

Just looking for some ball park numbers for a 1999 Carver 504 with Cummins 8.3 engines (450) HP.

Our fuel gauges are lying to us - shocker - and I need some guidelines while I sort things out.
