Recently purchased a 1985 Riviera and the batteries are not staying charged while on shore power. I am suspecting a bad battery charger, but cannot find it. I see on the specs it was optional equipment, but I am hoping it is there somewhere. Where would the battery charger be located? And does anyone know what model it would have been?

Just wanted to say hi. I am Gary and i am in contract with a 2000 carver 356 , going to be surveyed soon and sea trial. Any Advise of what to watch for ? Certain characteristics to look for on these boats?

I own a 1995 360 Supersport and the Dash Panel is all faded/oxidized etc. I cannot seam to find anything to treat it. Can I replace the panel? Does carver still sell the panels or is there a manufacturer that has the template to make for me?

I would love a chance to see a 530 in person, a number of features and layout that I really like but only seen photo's and video at this point.

I have an 88’3807. It did not come with raw water strainers for the raw water cooled engines. Has 1-1/4” lines from the seacocks to the raw water pumps. I ordered Perko strainers (1-1/4”) due to a stopped up oil cooler. I am assuming adding strainers would only be a plus. Any reason that no strainers would be a better design. I got 1-1/4”. Due to mounting constraints, looks like I’ll need elbows for fittings on both sides. Would that small of constriction with elbows vrs straight fitti ...

I have to replace a damaged fixed glass on the starboard side of my 2001 350 Mariner. Im not having much. Does anyone know how I can get this replaced?

Has anyone with a 356 removed the night stand in the aft stateroom? I need to get access to the aft fuel tank. The marble top pops off easily, just wondering if the cabinet can be pulled away as well.

OK, just putting this out there to get others option. We've been thinking of getting a Inflatable dinghy to use around the marina and tow behind our Carver 3607 when we go out on the big lake (Lake Michigan). Everyone I know that has had a inflatable tells me that eventually it will lose air and have issues. Recently I have found that I can pick up a number of different 3-place 14' jet boats in the area for reasonable pricing. No deflation issues and a whole lot more Horse Power with a Jet Boat. ...
