Does anyone have experience with removal/replacement of a VHF radio on a C 40? The radio is mounted in a glass panel on top of the helm. There is no access underneath nor behind. The best I can figure, the caulk has to be removed to take the panel off. From the Standard Horizon user manual, the mounting bracket can only be loosened from behind.

Ok all, been with Foremost Insurance for 4 +/- years at a fair price I thought for 2 boats for under $600.00/year. Agent just called and said the renewal was going to be just under $ 1,000.00 a year! WTH! Agent suggested I go look because she couldn't offer anything better! FYI, She's a very good agent, so good I have to buy her and her husband dinner every year. Progressive thus far is the best price I've seen for 2 boats and a PWC just under $ 800.00. Waiting for a quote from NBOA and US Boat/ ...

I had my alternator rebuilt over the winter. On splash day had a chirp from port engine, same as alternator that was rebuilt.



2002 Carver 350 with 6.2 L.



Looking at it, it looks like the belt tensioner pulley is not aligned with the other pulleys and is starting to chew the belt.



I didn’t touch any brackets but somehow the tensioner pulley is now angled. I only see two attachment bolts and both are tight. Has anyone experienced this?



Almost looks like I need a spacer on top bracket bolt ...

Hey guys.

Anyone know where I could get the fitting to hook up the hot and cold water lines to a new sink? I have the two female connectors but it's the small brass rings that you slide on the metal lines before you tighten them to the sink that I can't seem to find anywhere.

Any help would be appreciated. Tnx

Just making sure. I thought I had a Jabsco pump, but the pump says Sherwood, Detroit, MI cast into the housing. The impeller is a 12 rib impeller, and it's approximately 1.75" wide (not the diameter). Pump looks good inside, but the cover that you take off to remove the impeller has some decent grooves worn into it. I've rebuilt dozens of Mercs, this is my first Sherwood.

I have a couple Navionics CF cards that I don't need.

One is a "US NE & Canyons" card number 1G904XL3 and the other is a Hotmaps Platinum CF/HMPT-E6

I'd be interested in a CF or mSD card that includes the Great Lakes, if anyone has either of those sitting around.
