Hi Everyone! After losing our 2001 Cruisers Yachts 4270 in Hurricane Florence, we are on the serious hunt for a new boat. We love the layout and the interior helm of the Voyager 450. If anyone knows of an owner considering listing their MAINTAINED Voyager anywhere on the east coast, we would be interested in hearing from you. I have a 2006 model Carver 38ss & have seen the later model has reclining / lazy boy type seats along the starboard side.
Any idea if i can get these from someone ?

As my boat is a 1994, the weather stripping on all the windows is pretty rough, and we get leaks past it when it rains. I havn't been able to find the replacement weather stripping so am thinking of replacing the entire windows. First would be the port window in the aft cabin. Anyone have a source? I have the original line ticket of the boat, and was wondering if Carver would have windows available like this if I had the part number?



Also, on another note, it appears that the transom was repaired ...

I have a 1988 3807 with 350 Crusaders. Maintanence was done well for first owner but number 2 not so much. I got it last summer and it actually did very well. Wanting to catch up on needed maintenance and since crusader sold out, some parts not easy to find or cross reference. Bottom line I was told to change out entire ignition system and go electronic. Said each kit would be complete with wires etc. Basically plug and play on distributor change with need to change plug gap from .035 to . ...

In the process of buying either a used Carver 1988 Mariner or a 1989 Santego. Can anyone give me some insight into either boat?

To all you boaters out there. Every body has had buyers regret at on time or another. I for one. been there, done that.

After you buy the item, hence the boat, don't you feel that maybe you should have went for the other model? We were set on a flybridge for the extreme comfort that's for sure, I don't believe we can ever go back to a cruiser. But has anyone bought a model then thought, crap, maybe I should of bought the other one? Just curious because I can't believe I'm the only one.
