Can anyone give me an idea on how difficult the rear cockpit floor is to remove? How heavy, can it be lifted with several people helping or is machinery required?

I'm trying to prepare for my genset install next week so any insight is appreciated!

I have a 1989 3807 Aft Cabin and it needs a Fireboy tank- the previous owner "used" it and never replaced after a small electrical fire .. looking to see if anyone know what size I should get to replace what was there for this model.

Hoping to get some insight from the group. I winterized and serviced our 356 last fall before it was wrapped for the winter. I did not get the transmissions serviced so I’m planning on doing that when it gets in the water this spring. I did not record the info off the id plates on the transmissions. So I called Carver, they gave me the model as HSW800. Tried to look that up and there are multiple transmissions in that category but I’m thinking the new model number for my transmission is ZF85 IV ...

Considering the upcoming wiring jobs , I need some advice about label makers. I have never had one, but I think it would be much better than the masking tape marker route...

What do you guys use for label makers/ labels that are somewhat weather proof, engine compartment wire etc.....

Have a 530 Voyager with the seperate undercounter Subzero fridge and freezer. Anyone know where I can buy new door seals?

I have a 2000 396 aft cabin and the rudder angle indicator does not work. Any thoughts about how to get this gauge working again. Any help would be appreciated.

We have the 2005 Model 444 Aft Cockpit. Does anyone with the same model Carver have accurate fuel consumption figures. Specifically, both engines at 1000 rpm, 1200 rpm, 1500 rpm etc. Not so interested in speed, just gallons being consumed as a total both engines. About to start the Loop etc etc!

Okay call me freaking out at this point because I came to my boat today to find my bilges almost full of water. I need a drip less shaft seal tomorrow or Monday for a 405 7.4 mercs with velvet drives.



My starboard shaft seal is leaking and my mechanic 10 hours away where I bought the boat said he replaced the shaft seals but didnt.



He did however replace all my bilges to Rule 2000's without checking to see if electrical system would support it and as ya have told me, it will not.

On my Carver 2005 Carver 44 CPMY in the AC control panel , the shore power available lights are not lighting up .
Shore power is hooked up and everything is working fine EXCEPT the lights that should light up when shore power is on are not .
Any ideas ?

My 2005 Carver 44 has Volvo diesels . Working great but my engine sync gauge is pegged to the port side always and doesn't move regardless of engine rpm .
The rudder sync portion on the lower portion of the gauge works fine .
Any ideas ?
